Training / Coaching

Training Services:
As a breeder we understand the importance of starting our youngsters out on the right foot. Their first experiences are what shapes our young horses into the horses we need, and want them to become. We understand the importance of these first steps and the importance that these first steps are accomplished correctly, and in a manner that will help to build confidence in our young horses so they can go on to become everything they have been bred to do! Wether it's for pleasure or for performance to the highest levels. At Janako farms we start our youngsters in hand first, teaching them the importance of respect, and dicipline, through consistent firm, yet gentle handling working at the horse's pace through out the entire process. They are taught how to lunge, listen to body position and voice commands before ever having a person sit on their back. The whole breaking process is a done step by step, and only proceeds when the initial steps have been understood and accomplished. "You cannot run before you walk" This is our training philosophy. All our horses are trained in basic Dressage no matter what dicipline they are destined to go into. They understand how to respond to seat/weight, leg, and hand properly. The idea is to put the correct buttons on so that anyone can then take them on and finish them off the way they want.

Let us start start your horse off right! We do not descriminate from different diciplines. A horse is a horse no matter the breed they are all started the same.

Problem Horses:
We can also help fix problem horses, by rebuilding their basics through an individual program tailored to suit their specific issues and help rehabilitate them and bring them back. Wether you have a rearer, bucker, aggressive, nervous, or extreemly sensitive horse we have seen them all, and have the skills necessary to help them out. Let us take the time to problem solve for you. We also help to train the owners so they understand where the route of the problem originated, and to help keep the problem from arising again in the future.

Consignment Horses:
If you need your horse sold and don't have the time, leave it up to us! We'll advertise, take pictures, and make a video. We can campain your horses in shows as well help increase the value of your stock. Let us do the hard work, while you sit back and relax.

Our Goal:
To provide a service where breeders can bring their horses for breaking, and where show trainers/riders can look for their next up and coming star and feel confident that they can continue on with training without have to go back and fix any mistakes.

Line Classes/Breed Shows:
We have lots of experience with in prepping youngsters for breed shows and teaching them how to run in hand, and set up for the judges at breed shows. Wether it's CWHBA or CSHA we know what they are looking for and how to handle your youngster to show them off to the best of their potential.
