2005

August

Andrea Volasko was a member of the CWHBA young breeders group that was sent to Denmark for the Young Breeders Championships in August 2005.  It was a 10 day trip, including 3 days in Vilhelmsberg Denmark for the competition.  The Competition consisted of 2 groups of 3 (Junior and Senior) plus our Chef D'Equippe.  Each group had to write a test on horsemanship, Judge 3 horse's conformation, their free jump, as well as run a horse on a triangle.  Their scores for the judging portion were evaluated against the judges and given a mark depending on the differences between the 2 scores.  Unfortunately there was a mix up in the translation of our English tests so our team was a page short and some of the translation was a little odd.  But the experience was amazing, they were introduced to many different breed registries from all over the world.  http://www.canadianwarmbloods.com/youngbreedersprogram.php#denmark
